EMCOMM Training and Winlink

Online and In-Person

Most EMCOMM training is now done online through ARRL, FEMA, the American Red Cross, the National Weather Service (Skywarn), and others (see Winlink Resources below).

If you are a new ham radio operator, please reach out to the Virginia Amateur Radio Emergency Services (VA ARES) Emergency Coordinator (EC) for Culpeper County, Mike Moore K4MVM, for training opportunities that might be available locally or online.
